According to the Copyright Act, Statutes Law of the Bahamas, Chapter 323 - Copyright Regulations 1999, Arrangement of Regulations. Your Copyright Musical Works Are Protected Under The Laws of The Bahamas... Unfortunately There Appears not to be any Person Assisting Composers, Authors, Publishers, or Owners of Copyright of their actual rights.

The Government Has also made Provisions For a Royalties Tribunal Which on Good Authority I have found They have had 2 - 3 Chairmen to date maybe more.

According To the Copyright Act CH.323- Copyright Regulations 1999, Arrangement of Regulations, The Purpose of The Tribunal Is to Collect Broadcast Royalties From Radio, Television & 'Cable Systems' (Just so that you know the term 'cable systems' refers to a system that broadcasts or multicast, signals via wireless telecom, radio frequency, satellite TV, cable TV and more. After Collecting Royalties They Are Then Distributed To Performance Rights Organisations.

To Receive Your Earnings You Must Join an Organisation that Is Licenced To Receive Collections and Monies Earned.

Joining Such Organisations are usually free for Writers and Charge Publishers a fee. For example, organisations Like BMI, & ASCAP collect these Royalties For US Broadcasts, & distribute them to their members.

At the Copyright Office #50 Shirley Street. There are 2 Forms That you need to fill out To Protect Your Musical Works. Form F (For Sound Recordings) and Form D (For The Compositipon of Your Musical Work) Form D Is Very Important to Fill Out.
